About the job

We are seeking qualified nursing staff who want to put the person at the center and who are eager to include activities as part of the treatment.

We are seeking a trained social- and health assistant, a nurse, a physiotherapist, or a social educator.

Does that sound exciting? Stop by and say hello to us in ward A4!

Who are we?

A4 is a closed 24-hour ward with 16 beds, where we work with patients with complex psychiatric issues.

We are a staff group with diverse professional backgrounds and experiences. Some have many years of experience from the former psychiatric part of Rigshospitalet, and others have joined us in connection with our merger and move to New Psychiatry Bispebjerg three years ago.

We are a ward that has undergone a major development, and is now in the process of establishing a shared identity.

An identity, where

  • The relationship to the patient is central
  • Professionalism is given high priority
  • We as colleagues develop together

Your role with us

You will have a central role in the patient’s treatment course.

Your tasks will include

  • To create and maintain relationships with patients in a vulnerable and complex life situation
  • To contribute to stabilization and structure in the patient’s everyday life
  • To engage in close collaboration with colleagues about care and treatment
  • To work in an environmentally therapeutic manner

How we work

We work from a common treatment philosophy based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as an integrated part of our environment-therapeutic approach. In addition, we have a particular focus on a recovery-oriented approach, where we want to shift the focus from illness and symptoms to the person’s life, hope, and possibilities. Thus we emphasize the therapeutic relationship, meaning-making, and hope as the guiding elements in the treatment.

We focus on

  • Involvement of patients and relatives
  • Preventing coercion
  • Everyday life and function
  • Working with structure in everyday life, together with the patient

What do we offer?

  • A ward that welcomes both experienced and new perspectives
  • An work environment with a focus on security and development – both professionally, personally and collegially
  • Influence on your shift plan
  • Opportunity for further education

Who are you?

You are a trained social- and health assistant, a nurse, a physiotherapist, or a social educator, and we would like you to have experience with psychiatry, but it is not a requirement.

The most important thing is that you

  • Are eager to work relationally with patients
  • Can maintain an overview in complex situations
  • Are curious about your own and others’ development

Salary and employment terms

This is a permanent position with mixed shifts, with weekend duty every 2 weeks.

We would like you to start on December 1, 2026, or by agreement.

As a social educator you are employed in accordance with the agreement regarding Social Educator staff at 24-hour institutions, etc. - 32.38.1

As a nurse you are employed in accordance with the agreement for Non-Management personnel in the Health Association area - 32.17.1

As a social- and health worker you are employed in accordance with the agreement regarding wages and employment conditions for social- and health personnel - 32.03.1
