About us

With us you get a planned and predictable work week. We have high elective activity and a large patient flow during daytime on weekdays. In the evenings and at night, as well as on weekends and public holidays, there is on-call from the ward.

We are a day-surgery department with on average 8 operating rooms running each day, where we provide anesthesia for orthopedic, urological and endoscopic procedures and examinations as well as for eye surgery and specialized dentistry. We are among Denmark’s largest alloplastic centers. We are experienced anesthesia, operating room and recovery room nurses as well as anesthesiologists, who will all be your close colleagues.

We are a training site for anesthesia nursing trainees in the first part of their education as well as for prehospital trainees/apprentices.

Working hours

After the introductory period it is possible to go part-time.

The shift plan is arranged with regard to each individual's needs and wishes, and we prioritize that work life and leisure life fit as well as possible for the individual.

There will, in addition to ordinary day shifts until 15:30, be long shifts until 17:00, late shifts until 16:30 and night shifts, where you have effective daytime time, and go on-call from the ward at 17:30.

As we have reduced activity during school holidays and all public holidays, holidays are primarily taken during these periods.

From you we expect

That you are a specialized anesthesia nurse , who thrives with structure, high patient flow and elective patient pathways, and sees the professional challenge in this.

You are aware of your own role in building and maintaining healthy working relationships, and you use this awareness in the teamwork around the patient.

Starting salary for union employees

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
