Nurse for an exciting position in our wonderful care center Æblelunden, South-East District

We are looking for someone who thrives in ensuring and developing the quality of the efforts we deliver to citizens – including the health-related documentation.

This is a permanent position of 37 hours per week. You should be prepared that there will occasionally be evening work as well as weekend work every 3rd weekend.

Concrete work tasks

• perform complex nursing tasks in multidisciplinary collaboration
• contribute to preventing hospital admissions
• navigate professionally in residents' private surroundings
• apply your well-founded professional expertise in the multidisciplinary effort
• prepare action guidelines where both goals and subgoals are clearly formulated, where the actions are concrete and clearly described and ensure follow-up
• work in a motivating way with residents and your partners
• guide and supervise students, pupils and colleagues
• be collaborative in solving tasks
• contribute with creative solutions while working in a structured and purposeful manner
• advise and support residents and relatives in their daily lives
• plan and participate in activities and social interaction based on each resident's resources and needs

Qualifications and competencies

• you are a trained nurse
• you have experience and a particular interest in working with the elderly and people with dementia
• are flexible, accommodating and collaborative in carrying out tasks
• can navigate professionally in relation to residents, relatives and colleagues
• see opportunities and have the courage and ability to go new ways
• are creative, have an interest in and enjoy physical activity, including outdoors
• apply your well-founded professional expertise in the multidisciplinary effort

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and DSR.
