Nurse for the Klarahus nursing home in the heart of Nørrebro

Do you want to work with elderly people with multiple health-care issues? Do you want to test yourself against the increasing complexity in elder care?

So there is a position we think you should apply for! Right now we are looking for a nurse for a 37-hour position at Klarahus – a heartwarming nursing home in the atmosphere-filled City of the Old People in Nørrebro. The nurses work Monday to Friday and not on holidays.

Klarahus is a somatic nursing home with 111 apartments and our own production kitchen. You will be employed in a ward with 42 residents, where you are the primary nurse. You will have a close collaboration with the two other nurses, our quality nurse, our development and quality officer and our nurse who is the knowledge person on the dementia area and training supervisor. In addition, there are 14 competent and engaged carers and assistants.

We are looking for you who both want and are able to switch between actual instrumental nursing, ensuring professional documentation in Cura and provide sparring and guidance to your colleagues who want to be even better at their work.

You will join a professional community with the other nurses, where your primary task is to raise the professional quality of care and nursing for all residents at Klarahus.

We do not know you yet, but we think that ...

you are a trained nurse – preferably with experience from the primary sector and with Cura (not necessary) – and have the desire and ability to collaborate with other professional groups to deliver high-quality care, caregiving and nursing for residents with many health-care issues. In addition, we expect you to be able to say 'yes' to these statements:

I am flexible and offer my competencies where there is a need.

I continuously work on my own professional development – and enjoy contributing to the development of my colleagues.

I want to contribute to the educational task as a daily supervisor for our nursing students.

You also possess the personal and professional overview to provide nursing in your own ward, but also to work across wards and collaborate with residents and staff elsewhere in the building. You also share responsibility for ensuring that the health-care documentation meets the required standards and expectations.

In addition to your close professional community, we expect you to have a close collaboration with the ward managers and the other staff on the wards. It is therefore important that you can take initiative and participate actively when we implement new working methods – and in the ongoing work to sustain them.

In the City of the Old People in the heart of Nørrebro lies the municipal nursing home Klarahus. The City of the Old People is an oasis of green spaces, animals and playful children – and neighbor nursing homes such as Møllehuset, Kastanjehuset, Lindehusene and Slottet right around the corner.

At Klarahus we have an open door to the outside world. We collaborate with the other nursing homes in the City of the Old People and invite in for professional inspiration and meaningful interactions across generations, e.g., through visiting babies. Employment conditions
