About the job

Become part of a specialized and multidisciplinary team! Do you want to make a real difference for people with acquired brain injury? Are you keen to work with rehabilitation at a specialized level, close interdisciplinary collaboration and a daily life where professionalism, structure and relationships go hand in hand? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for.

An employer in exciting development

We are seeking four nurses for permanent full-time positions in the 24-hour rehabilitation unit, which is physically located at Bytoften. The positions are available for filling from 1 January 2027.

We are in the middle of an exciting development, where the specialized area in accordance with the Health Reform is transferred from the municipality to the region as of 1 January 2027. This means you will become part of an organization undergoing change – with an opportunity to influence your professional field, contribute to the development of specialized neurorehabilitation and be part of an important journey for citizens, employees and partners.

Who are we?

We work with citizens after discharge from hospital, where the length of stay depends on each citizen's development potential – typically a pathway of three months. In rehabilitation we work towards the individual citizen becoming active and participating in their future life based on their own resources, wishes and needs, and in collaboration with relatives.

You will become part of a dynamic, engaged and multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, social and health care assistants, neuropsychologist, speech-language pathologist and chief physician. We work targeted and specialized with rehabilitation plans for the individual citizen and focus on supporting citizens to become active participants in their own lives.

About the positions and your tasks

These are permanent full-time positions. You will join a shift schedule, as the unit is staffed around the clock. The work includes shifts at different times of the day as well as weekend work. We have two teams and have the possibility for individual considerations as we work with wish plans. The concrete extent is agreed closer and planned in the duty roster.

You can expect the following tasks

  • Nursing assessments, observations and interventions in rehabilitation processes as well as medication management, dispensing and follow-up on treatment
  • Collaboration with citizens, relatives, doctors, hospitals and municipal partners
  • Contribution to multidisciplinary rehabilitation plans, documentation, status descriptions and professional communication
  • Support of a rehabilitative approach in the daily work with citizens

About you

We are looking for you who

  • Are professionally engaged, curious and want to work with people with acquired brain injury and complex issues in a rehabilitative daily life.
  • Are interested in, and preferably have experience with, neurorehabilitation as well as complex pathways.
  • See neuro-pedagogical strategies as a natural part of the task.
  • Have strong cooperation skills, thrive in teamwork, seek sparring and value multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Are proactive and capable of planning and prioritizing your own tasks independently.
  • Communicate and convey clearly both orally and in writing and thrive in collaboration with citizens and relatives.
  • Move comfortably between mono-disciplinary and multidisciplinary tasks, even when daily life requires quick shifts. At the same time you actively contribute to a good working environment together with your multidisciplinary colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have a driver's license, but not a requirement, as rehabilitation for some citizens will also take place in the citizen's own home.

What can you expect?

With us you enter a workplace where professionalism and human proximity go hand in hand. We offer:

  • A close multidisciplinary collaboration with the citizen at the center and the opportunity to closely follow the citizen's development.
  • A thorough introduction with professional guidance, supervision and competence development in relevant tasks.
  • A varied everyday life with professional challenges and focus on quality and evidence-based practice.
  • A good working environment with psychological safety, engaged colleagues, good humor and room for camaraderie.

Would you like to help set the standard for specialized neurorehabilitation? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
