Social and Health Care Helpers and Assistants Wanted for Home Care in Allerød Municipality

We are seeking engaged social and health care helpers and assistants for day shifts in Allerød Municipality's home care, starting January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

How we work

We work in self-managing, cross-disciplinary teams, where we reflect, analyze and plan visits to the citizens together. We bring different professional backgrounds into play and focus on creating coherence in the help we offer.

With the new older person act there is an increased focus on holistic care, self-determination and the citizen’s own resources. Therefore you will have a varied everyday life, where tasks can range from nursing care to personal care, practical help and cleaning.

For us, good home care also means relationships. We meet the citizens with presence, respect and understanding for their wishes and needs. The goal is to create safety and motivation, so that each person can maintain as much independence and quality of life as possible.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained social and health helper or assistant
• Would preferably have experience from home care – but this is not a requirement
• Are responsible, empathetic and good at building trustful relationships
• Can work independently and at the same time thrive in close collaboration with colleagues
• Have the desire to share your knowledge and contribute to professional development
• Can cycle/have a driving license
• Speak and understand Danish, so you can communicate clearly with the citizens
• Can document your work and are willing to develop your documentation skills
• Thrives in a daily life where plans and needs can change, and where we find solutions together

Working hours

You will be employed for day shifts with working hours between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and a shift every third weekend.
