Who are we?

Curea is a social-work company that delivers interventions to children, young people and families under the Children's Act. We work with family treatment, contact-person programs, respite, practical pedagogical support and youth support.

We believe that development is created in relationships, in everyday actions, and through a holistic understanding of the child, the young person and the family. Therefore we work in a resource-focused and practice-oriented way based on each family's needs, goals and life situation.

About the position

You will work closely with families’ daily lives and help create concrete changes in their life situation.

You work independently in everyday life and will often be the ongoing staff member in the interventions you are attached to. At the same time you become part of a professional community with close sparring as well as ongoing supervision and professional development.

The interventions take place across several municipalities and target groups and are based on the family’s everyday life. It can be at home, at educational institutions, in leisure time or in collaboration with networks and other professionals.

This means you will have a varied workday, where you must be able to work independently, create structure and maintain an overview in several cases simultaneously.

What will you be working with?

·          Relationship work with children, young people and families

·          Pedagogical interventions in everyday life

·          Goal and sub-goal work in collaboration with the family

·          Support in concrete challenges and everyday coping

·          Interdisciplinary collaboration with schools and networks

·          Documentation, status and professional assessments

We are looking for someone who

• Is trained as a pedagogue or has a corresponding relevant education
• Has experience with children, youths with psychiatric diagnoses and their families
• Can build trusting relationships and use the relationship as a professional tool
• Can work independently and take responsibility for the interventions you join
• Has good collaboration skills and thrives in interdisciplinary contexts
• Has good written skills
• Has a driver’s license and own car
