We are seeking a social worker for the Specialized Area in Brønderslev Municipality

About the position

Do you like to juggle many tasks, and are you passionate about working with adults with physical or mental disabilities or social challenges? Then here is a unique opportunity to become part of the Specialized Area in Brønderslev Municipality.

We are looking for a colleague for a permanent position of 37 hours per week

You will be part of a department that consists of 12 advisors, a team coordinator, an administrative employee and a manager. In addition, the department is supported by a lawyer and a financial controller, who also have an office in the department. We are physically located at Dronninglund Town Hall.

What unites us is that we all want to make a difference for the municipality's citizens through a coherent effort with a focus on supporting each individual's opportunity to live as independent a life as possible.

The Specialized Area handles case processing under Chapter 14 of the Service Act for citizens with physical, mental or social impairment. We work with Service Act §§ 82, 85, 95, 96, 97, 98, 103, 104, 107, 105/85, 108, 110 as well as the granting of substance abuse treatment and supervision of individuals placed by court order. The target group is primarily citizens over 30 years old and young people who have been granted early retirement pension.

We work according to the adult assessment method and use VUM 2.0.

We are seeking an advisor who is interested in the residential care area, as the position is expected to have a special focus on these cases. At the same time, there will also be opportunities to work with other target groups and task types within the Specialized Area.

Practical information

You must have a category B driving license, as there is driving involved in the tasks. Brønderslev Municipality provides cars. Salary and employment are according to the applicable collective agreement and your qualifications.
