SOSU Training Supervisor for Billund Municipality

Would you like to have a central role in the education of the future social and health care workers?

One of our skilled training supervisors has chosen to seek new challenges, and therefore we are seeking a SOSU training supervisor on a full-time basis for Billund Municipality. You will become part of a dedicated team consisting of five training supervisors, who work to create good learning pathways and support the students' well-being, development and completion of the education.

A role in development

Billund Municipality continuously works to strengthen the quality of training for social and health care students. At the same time the organization of all our student areas is under development and change. As a training supervisor you will report to one of our engaged operations managers, while also being part of a close professional community with the other training supervisors. You will be attached to your own training area, where you will collaborate with local managers and support our students in completing their education.

Your main tasks

As a SOSU training supervisor you will be responsible for

• Guide and support students through their training program
• Collaborate with students, managers and educational institutions
• Contribute to high quality in the training programs, including on our common study days and in reflections with your students
• Support learning, well-being and progression among the students
• Participate in the work with recruitment and retention of students and ensure good coordination and follow-up on student programs
• Contribute to the development of learning environments and educational efforts in the municipality

We are looking for someone who

• has a health professional background, e.g. as social and health care assistant or nurse
• has practical experience in the health field, also preferably from psychiatry
• has experience with training, guidance or educational tasks
• thrives in a role with many collaborative relationships
• can work independently and in a structured way
• is good at building relationships and motivating others
• sees the value in developing future employees in the social and health field, and would like to go the “extra mile” to see our students succeed.
