Education mentor for SPS – helping young people do well in their education

Do you want to support young people in mastering everyday life in their education? And can you combine strong relationships with structure and overview? Then you might be our new education mentor at EUC Lillebælt.

We are seeking an engaged education mentor for our Support and Wellbeing Team.

You will play an important role in supporting students and apprentices who need extra help to complete their education. Together with colleagues, teachers and companies, you translate the individual support needs into concrete solutions in daily life.

Your tasks

You will support students and apprentices across our programs. The tasks include, among others, to:

• Provide individual support for structure, overview and handling the requirements of the education. The support can be 1-1, in the theory classroom and in practical teaching.
• Plan and carry out mentoring programs and support in smaller groups.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt the learning environment to each student's needs.
• Support access to relevant aids and the use of them.
• Follow up on apprentices in training and spar with companies that handle SPS tasks.
• Administer and document support programs as well as follow up on efforts and development.
• Contribute to developing our SPS efforts together with the team and management.

We are looking for you who

• Have a relevant education, e.g. as a pedagoger, teacher or social worker.
• Have experience with special pedagogy or mentoring, preferably from the education sector.
• Meet young people with empathy and respect and can create trusting relationships.
• Work in a structured way and follow up on agreements and tasks.
• Thrive with the administrative tasks that mentoring work also involves.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate well with students, colleagues and companies.

Salary and employment

Salary, pension and other terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and TAT.

Start date by agreement and no later than 1 January 2027.
