About the job

Do you have a broad, well-honed overview, a warm heart, and want to be part of a strong administrative community?

We are expanding, and therefore we are looking for more colleagues to join our fantastic team.

We offer permanent positions of 37 hours per week with start time between 7:30–15:30. The positions start February 1, 2027 or by agreement.

Who are we?

We are a strong and highly motivated team of 12 health administrative colleagues in the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.   We work closely with our colleagues across areas and sites. Our shared vision is to create a “Better Life For the Patient” – and we do this best when we also take good care of each other and laugh together in everyday life.

Since we work in an outpatient clinic, we have weekends and holidays off.   In rare cases, there may be a few public holiday shifts. We take turns covering May 1st, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, where a single employee is at work. The rest of the team can safely enjoy the days off at home.

Who are you?

  • You are a trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator - Non-negotiable requirement
  • Experience: Whether you have worked in psychiatry, somatics, or are about to become a newly graduated health administrative coordinator, we value when our diverse backgrounds and experiences are actively used in the team
  • system-geek: You navigate Midt-EPJ and the Office suite without flailing with the mouse
  • nerd with a capital N: You love to dive into care-pathway booking, accurate registration and professional challenges
  • phone-warrior: You maintain good humor and the calm overview when the phones ring between 8:00 and 10:00
  • team player: You highly value the sense of community and always think "we" over "I"
  • writes, speaks, and understands Danish.

What do you get with us?

  • a highly motivated team that looks forward to welcoming you and sharing their knowledge
  • good opportunities to nerd out and dive into your specific areas of interest
  • an informal culture with room to grow and room for both missteps and smiles in everyday life
  • a positive working environment that we all have a responsibility to maintain
  • interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, social workers, doctors and nurses
  • we collaborate across professions with for example municipalities, residential facilities, the police, etc.
  • registration, pathway markers, patient rights, BI portal, referrals, handling of conference forms, pathway booking and special tasks are just some of the exciting tasks we handle daily
  • it should also be noted that journal writing currently takes up no time in daily life
  • we have a culture where peer coaching is highly prioritized; therefore we work in a work rotation with a buddy.

Want to join the team?

If you would like to meet us for an informal chat, call us at tel. 2381 8535. We are really looking forward to hearing from you!

About the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Department (BUA)

BUA is a department under Psychiatry in the Region of Central Denmark. We conduct multidisciplinary assessment and treatment of children and adolescents from 0-18 (21) years with mental illness and developmental disorders. In assessment and treatment we also involve the patient’s family, network, possibly other hospital departments and municipalities in the region.

BUA consists of 4 inpatient wards and 8 clinical wards distributed in Skejby, Viborg and Gødstrup, as well as a research unit and a medical secretary unit in Skejby. The majority of the treatment is outpatient. BUA covers four main areas: Infants, School-age children, Adolescents, and Eating disorders. The staff include doctors, nurses, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers, etc.

The department received 5,212 external referrals in 2025 and had contact with about 9,500 unique CPR numbers. In 2025 the department had a net budget of 330 million DKK and as of 1/12-2025 571 full-time equivalents distributed over 634 employees.

In the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Department we place high importance on employee safety. All staff attend de-escalation training and are expected to be able to use de-escalation methods in required situations.

The position is, in principle, a full-time position.

As Region Midtjylland continually implements savings and reorganizations, employees in redeployment who apply for the position will have priority.

Region Midtjylland is, in accordance with the EU pay transparency directive, which came into force on June 7, 2026, obliged to inform you of the starting salary or a salary range for a position before offering employment.

Here you will find Region Midtjylland's salary catalog for most professional groups and positions found in Region Midtjylland: Transparency before employment - Medarbejder.rm.dk
