Daycare Southeast, Børnehuset Klarupvej, located in Klarup, is seeking a pedagogue for a fixed-term employment (maternity leave replacement).

37 hours per week from January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are looking for a colleague for our nursery, in a fixed-term employment (maternity leave replacement), who will help make a difference in children's everyday life. We are looking for you who with your calm and attentive manner will help create the framework for children's participation opportunities, well-being, learning, development and formation – together with engaged and professionally strong colleagues.

You must be able to see children's needs and potentials and help them bring their resources into play in relationships and play communities. We are looking for someone who is strong in relationship work and who can help create structure and predictability in everyday life.

Your new job

Børnehuset Klarupvej is normed to 80 kindergarten children, distributed across four age-integrated rooms. You will be attached to a room, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the room’s operation, including introductory conversations, follow-up conversations, dialog meetings, well-being evaluations, language assessments, planning, etc.

You must be able to work with children's participation opportunities in different contexts and groups, and be flexible in relation to supporting children where the need arises. It requires that you thrive in an environment with diverse and changing tasks, and that you see collaboration and professional sparring as a natural part of daily life.

In Børnehuset Klarupvej we work targeted to strengthen children's well-being, development, learning and formation through close, caring and appreciative relationships and strong communities. We meet the children with respect and start from their resources and potential – with a fundamental belief that all children do their best. It is the adults who have the responsibility to create frames that support the children's participation and development.

You must be able to translate pedagogical principles and methods into concrete practice, and be part of supporting children who for one reason or another are challenged in everyday life and in the community.

The entire staff group participated in a teaching program in Nest in autumn 2024, which strengthened our shared pedagogical foundation and approach. It is an advantage if you are familiar with it, and preferably have experience with Nest, but this is not a requirement. Right now we are in an exciting development process where we are further qualifying our pedagogical practice with a focus on structure, predictability and visual guidance, which creates security and clarity for the children, a process that we expect you to actively participate in.

Your new workplace

Børnehuset Klarupvej is a new institution, which looks very nice, with lovely and good facilities. Indoors, the institution offers large rooms that invite play, immersion, creativity and movement. Outdoors we have a large and delightful playground, designed with space for movement, cozy corners and a fire pit. At the bottom of the playground we have an area with trees, shrubs and good “hideouts,” where the children especially love to play.

We have a catering arrangement from our own production kitchen, where our nutritional lead ensures meals for the whole day.

It is expected that you can attend during the entire institution’s opening hours 6:15-16:45 and up to 19:45 for staff meetings, which take place about every 4 weeks.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is covered by local pay. Other terms of employment according to current rules between the KL (Kommunernes Landsforening) and FOA.

Prior to final employment, staff and child attestations will be obtained.
