About the job

Are you the one we are looking for – and are we the ones you want to be a part of?

So you might be our upcoming skilled employee, and we would be happy to hear from you.

We are seeking an inclusion pedagogue for our fantastic school with wonderful students and good colleagues.

At the Child and Youth Administration of the City of Copenhagen there is one full-time position as an inclusion pedagogue at Nyboder School to be filled on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

About the job

As an inclusion pedagogue you will play a central role in the school's work with well-being and inclusion. You will be the coordinator of the school's resource center and have daily contact with pupils who need special pedagogical attention and support.

You will work closely with various teams at the school and help create and support diverse child communities. You should have a view of both the individual child and the community and help find pedagogical solutions that enable more children to participate, thrive and succeed.

In everyday life you will work closely with the school's leadership and contribute with your pedagogical professionalism and your perspectives on the pupils' well-being, development and opportunities to participate. You therefore thrive on dialogue, sparring and close cooperation around the shared tasks.

We attach importance to you being relationship-building, clear and curious about the children's perspectives, and that you can translate your pedagogical expertise into concrete actions in daily life.

About Nyboder School

Nyboder School is a lively and engaged school in the heart of Copenhagen, where pupil well-being is high on the agenda. We are proud to have students who thrive, are happy with their school and feel like an important part of the community.

Nyboder School has about 420 pupils, of which about 50 pupils attend our numbers class series. We work based on the principle of year-group teaching and collaborate across departments.

We work purposefully to create safe and inclusive learning environments where all children feel they belong. We focus on developing diverse child communities, where there is room for difference, and where all children have the opportunity to participate and contribute.

On the school's website you can read more about our goal, the numbers class series and pedagogical principles.

You will become part of a committed collegial community where we place high value on professional sparring, cooperation and a common approach to the children. We are looking for you who want to help create a school day where all children feel seen, heard and as a valuable part of the community.

Employment terms

The position comprises 37 weekly wage hours and involves, in addition to teaching hours, team cooperation, department and development meetings as well as other tasks related to teaching and the school's other activities.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement, and background checks and criminal record checks will be obtained.

The City of Copenhagen regards diversity as an asset and therefore encourages everyone regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or ethnic background to apply for vacant positions.
