We are seeking pedagogues, social- and health care assistants and pedagogical assistants

Sømarken Care Home in Nykøbing Falster is expanding in the new year with a new ward targeted at residents who both have extensive health and social support needs. It is an exciting and forward-looking new holistic offering for a vulnerable and complex target group, and we need you, who:

• Are passionate about working, collaborating and developing yourself at the intersection of disciplines where the workplace culture is a central element.
• Would like to take a lead in developing professional frameworks, methods and collaboration interfaces around a new offering
• Focus on holistic care, high professionalism and well-being in a vulnerable and complex target group
• In your approach always take as a starting point Guldborgsund Municipality's core task , namely to “ strengthen citizens' ability to master their own lives and, in collaboration with the citizens, ensure that everyone can participate in relevant communities ”

The first offering opens in January 2027 and will consist of 6 places.

Care homes with a social profile should be understood as a special care home scheme for residents, where the complexity is not only related to the need for care and health-related interventions but to the combination of complex, multi-faceted and somatic needs.

The target group can include among others

Residents with congenital or acquired disabilities, including brain injury, developmental disability or developmental disorders.

Residents with mental disorders or mental vulnerability

Residents with significantly reduced physical, mental or cognitive functioning, who have a need for both extensive health-related interventions and ongoing social work support.

The offering is based on an integrated cross-disciplinary approach, where health, social work and holistic care are brought together in a single task solution. Therefore we are seeking employees who can both perform health-related tasks and contribute to citizens' well-being through relationship work, structure and social-work methods.

The nursing home area in Guldborgsund Municipality is on the threshold of a comprehensive development. A master plan has been adopted, a political vision and a values program for “the care homes of the future”, which will be rolled out in the coming years. The deliberation is high, and concretely for Sømarken the plan within a few years is to expand the number of places and to renovate the existing building stock so that in the future it becomes an even better framework for the good elderly life for our residents and the good working life for our employees.

Your tasks will include

• To support citizens in daily life with structure, care and predictability
• To support citizens in participating in social activities inside and outside the ward
• To perform health-related and pedagogical tasks
• To document and participate in professional meetings
• To collaborate closely with colleagues in a cross-disciplinary team
• To be adaptable and work across Sømarken's departments

Employment from 1 January 2027 or by agreement. The start period will be at Sømarken's other departments until the residents move into the new ward.

The positions include

• 37 hours per week
• Mixed shifts in day and evening hours
• Shifts every second weekend

Employment will take place according to applicable collective agreement for the relevant professional group.
