The job at Esbjerg Friplejehjem You will become an important part of the residents’ everyday life.

You contribute to residents experiencing safety, presence and high quality in care, while you collaborate closely with colleagues, relatives and our nurses.

Your tasks will include

• provide holistic care and care for the residents
• observe changes in residents’ well-being and health status
• work with documentation and health-related tasks
• contribute to rehabilitative and person-centered care
• create meaningful activities and good experiences in everyday life
• collaborate with relatives and other professional groups
• contribute to a safe and well-functioning evening shift

Esbjerg Friplejehjem Esbjerg Friplejehjem opened in 2023, and we are still shaping the workplace and culture we want to be. Many of the traditions, workflows and activities that characterize the house today were created by the employees themselves. We have room for 60 residents and are operated by Danske Diakonhjem, which is a nonprofit organization with a strong value base.

We work with the resident at the center and base our approach on each individual’s wishes, needs and life history. Therefore we make sure to create everyday life with presence, activity and community.

We have our own kitchen, where meals are prepared from scratch, and we prioritize the togetherness around meals. At the same time, we have good facilities for activities, events and socializing with residents’ families and friends.

Work environment and community We believe that good relationships between colleagues are essential for both well-being and quality.

Therefore we prioritize collaboration, professional reflection and development. We set aside time to get to know each other and actively work so that everyone feels like a valuable part of the community.

We are flexible and help each other across professional areas and tasks.

Salary and terms of employment

• 28 - 30 hours per week
• Starting 01.12.26 or as soon as possible thereafter
• Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement between KL and FOA
