7-Springeren is a small, cozy, integrated day-care center right in the heart of Nørrebro opposite Assistens Cemetery. We have 66 children distributed across two nursery groups and two kindergarten groups. The kindergarten rooms rotate between staying in our satellite location, which is in Klampenborg close to forest and beach. This creates a quiet and calm atmosphere with never more than 45 children at Kapelvej. We believe this gives the children the best of both city life and the tranquility of nature.

The maternity leave temporary position is primarily in our satellite location, where you will be connected to both kindergarten groups.

Our pedagogical focus

We have a strong focus on the children's perspective, so their needs are considered in all aspects of the day. Relationship work is central to our practice, so we create strong relationships and communities among the children. The institution's small scale means that both adults and children know each other, which creates extra security and flexibility across rooms.

We are seeking an engaged and caring pedagogue who is passionate about creating a safe and inspiring everyday life for our children. In our institution we place great emphasis on both the children's and the adults' development, strong collaboration, relationship work, a social-constructivist view on learning and formation, and the importance of outdoor life.

We therefore seek a colleague who can

• provide care and support to the children with a focus on both physical and socio-cognitive development
• promote the children's learning and development through a range of age-appropriate activities and projects
• build and maintain safe and trusting relationships with the children, so that every child feels seen and heard
• collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the children's well-being
• plan and organize daily learning environments that stimulate the children's social and creative skills
• apply a social-constructivist view, where learning is seen as an active and social process, meaning that cooperation, dialogue and community are central elements in the pedagogical practice
• promote the children's development through outdoor life, where nature is used as an educational and learning arena – here the children's motor skills, creativity and social competencies are strengthened
• organize outdoor activities and teach the children to value and interact with their natural surroundings
• actively contribute to a trusting and collaborative working environment among the adults, where open communication and respect are key values

Your qualifications

• Education as a pedagogue or similar
• Experience with work in a pedagogical institution
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning, development, relationship-building and outdoor life
• A team player who values trust and networking among colleagues

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. We obtain child and criminal records checks and take references in connection with employment.
