Day and residential services Saustrup and Rydehjemmet in the Center for Handicap, Holstebro Municipality, seek an engaged colleague for a coordinating role with well-founded social-pedagogical insight and a view of the whole.

Your primary workplace will be Rydehjemmet, but you will also have coordinating tasks at Saustrup. You will be part of a multidisciplinary community with engaged colleagues, where we value trust, professional curiosity and shared responsibility for citizens’ well-being and development.

About the services

Rydehjemmet near Vinderup has room for 19 residents, while Saustrup near Skave houses 22 residents distributed across two housing units. Both services provide social-pedagogical support, care and assistance to residents with permanently reduced functioning. Rydehjemmet has an internal activity offering, and Saustrup also houses the Nature Workshop with activities under the Social Services Act §§ 103 and 104.

Our common core task is: “We co-create the qualified everyday life for and with the citizen.” We work recovery-oriented with focus on the citizen’s wishes, resources, self-determination and a meaningful life.

Your role and your competencies

As an employee with a coordinating function you support the professional quality and daily operations in collaboration with colleagues, management and the on-call rota team. You contribute to professional sparring, knowledge sharing and implementation of social-pedagogical methods LA2u, neuropedagogy, as well as health-related interventions.

You also participate in the citizen-oriented practice. The position does not include personnel management. Familiarity with Nexus and Sekoia is an advantage.

We imagine that you have a relevant professional background, solid experience with the target group and strong social-pedagogical competencies. You create an overview, keep calm in a changing everyday life and are motivated by professional development, knowledge sharing and collaboration. You have a driving license and access to a car.

Practical information

The position: 37 hours per week. Flexibility is expected according to the needs of the operation. Start as soon as possible and no later than 1 January 2027.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, and the rules on New Pay
