About Langhuset

Langhuset is a residential facility for 16 adult residents with permanently reduced physical and mental function. We are located in scenic surroundings in Aakirkeby with good outdoor areas that provide space for both calm, activity and presence.

We work every day to create a meaningful and content-rich everyday life for the residents – always with respect to their self-determination, wishes and individual needs. We work from KRAP and focus on creating frames where there is room for both community and the individual’s choices.

About the position

The position is at Langhuset, where you will become part of a professionally strong and engaged team. You will work with the whole resident group, where there are both shared tasks and the possibility to build closer relationships with individual residents.

Working hours are alternating day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend.

In daily life we work with clear structure and recognizable frames and take as our starting point an appreciative and relationship-based approach with a focus on creating security. In addition, activities take place both inside and outside the house – such as walks, drives and shared experiences – as an important part of work with well-being, development and quality of life.

You will have a varied day, where you help create both small and large moments that make a difference for the residents.

• Work independently and in a structured way in everyday tasks

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local pay setting.

Criminal record checks will be obtained upon hire.

A Category B driving licence – a normal car is a requirement.

The position is 37 hours per week.
