About the job

Do you want to lead a new chapter at Boserupvej? We are seeking an experienced bid manager who will help shape the future Boserupvej – with professionalism, shared leadership and citizens' life mastery as the focus.

At the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility, people with diverse life histories, hopes and dreams live here. People who need extensive support in daily life, and who at the same time must have as much influence as possible over their own lives.

It is their home, and our task is to create the framework for them to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

The Boserupvej Residential Care Facility is one of Copenhagen Municipality's largest social-psychiatric residential facilities and a workplace for around 100 employees. The facility is organized into three areas, each with its own daily life, staff and area leader.

We are at a point where a lot is moving. We have gone through a long period where we have focused on helping citizens outside the target group to progress well to other residential facilities, built capacity to work systematically with residents' internal- or external perspective, and strengthened the quality of our documentation practices. We still have tasks ahead of us to create stability in operations, strengthen our shared culture and ensure a continued good and safe working environment.

At the same time, we face some major changes. By 2030, the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility will become three smaller residential facilities, and we look forward to being ready with the first newly built facility by the end of 2027.

In other words, it is a special leadership role you are stepping into. And you will have the opportunity to make a clear mark on the direction in which the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility should develop.

What occupies us in the leadership of the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility

We are focused on how to create a coherent Boserupvej where citizens meet with respect, decency and professional competence that supports their right to determine their own life.

We believe that professional quality is created through clear professional leadership, joint reflection and a culture where we are curious about our own practice and dare to challenge what we usually do. Citizens' legal protection must be a natural part of everyday life, and we must always have an eye on how our actions and decisions affect the people who live at the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility

We are also focused on creating a coherent Boserupvej. The three living-area hubs have different strengths and challenges, and we must therefore succeed together in the joint task. That calls for a strong leadership community, where we help each other, take responsibility across and create a culture where both citizens and staff can thrive.

And we are also focused on something quite fundamental: that everyday life functions. That we have the right staff and competencies in place, that tasks and responsibilities are clear, and that we create a stable and sustainable operation. This is an important prerequisite for succeeding with our core task.

We are looking for a bid manager who shares these ambitions and who has the experience, courage and desire to translate them into concrete leadership.

You must succeed through others

As bid manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility and will be the closest leader to four area managers.

One of your first tasks will be to gather and develop the leadership team and create a shared leadership direction. We need a leader who can both give space to other leaders' professionalism and judgment, be open to advice and at the same time be clear about expectations, priorities and responsibilities.

You must be able to create calm and overview when daily life is complex, and have an eye for both the challenges that require immediate action and the development we need to succeed with in the longer term.

We envision you as an experienced leader with knowledge of psychiatry or social psychiatry as well as leadership of a 24/7 facility. You have experience in leading leaders, and you are motivated by achieving results together with others.

You are clear and decisive, but also listening, curious and concerned with people. You have a strong professional and ethical compass and know that good leadership requires presence, courage and perseverance.

You will not be alone in the task

The Boserupvej facility is part of the Center for Long-Term Housing in the Social Administration of Copenhagen Municipality.

You will become part of a leadership community with nine other facility leaders in the social-psychiatric area, where we prioritize professional sparring, shared development and cross-department collaboration.

You will receive close managerial sparring from your area director and access to the shared professional and administrative resources in the center.

We know that the task at the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility is complex. Therefore, it is also important for us that you get a leadership space where we can discuss dilemmas together, prioritize and find good solutions.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are negotiated in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

We want our new bid manager to take up the post on January 1, 2027, and no later than February 1, 2027. The position is 37 hours per week.

We will obtain references and a criminal record as part of the recruitment process.

Would you like to be part of it?

We hope you have become curious about the leadership task and the possibilities at the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility. We have prepared this job and person profile, where you can read much more about the facility, the concrete leadership tasks and the competencies we are seeking.

You are also very welcome to contact area director Pia Mols at 20 45 41 30 for a conversation about the position. We are also happy to show you the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility.

We look forward to hearing from you and reading your application.

Application deadline: Apply via the link no later than Thursday 12 November 2026

We will hold the first recruitment interview on Tuesday 17 November 2026. If you progress to a second round, you will undergo a series of tests. The second interview will take place on Wednesday 25 November 2026. The interviews will be held at the Boserupvej Residential Care Facility in Roskilde.
