About the job

We are looking for a maternity leave substitute, is that you?

Whom are we looking for?

We are seeking a full-time teacher for a maternity leave replacement until 30 June 2027 in Team 3 for our department at Borup Byvej.

We wish for the position to be filled from 1 January 2027.

We are looking for a teacher who is flexible and ready to adapt. Someone with an interest in handling special education as well as the willingness to work with students with complex challenges. It is expected that you have insight into and understanding of students’ learning prerequisites, and that you can create good learning environments. Environments that strengthen students’ personal, social and academic competences, and a continuous work with the students in committed communities.

You must be able to participate in the interdisciplinary collaboration around the students.

Who is Trekløverskolen?

Trekløverskolen is distributed across three departments: Blommevej, Borup Byvej and Støvringgårdvej. The current student base is approximately 290 students. We have about 170 staff members distributed among teachers, pedagogues, PAU, aides, therapists and TAP.

The target group includes students with communicative challenges, such as delayed or no linguistic development, students with socio-emotional challenges, students with physical disabilities as well as students with specific challenges within the autism spectrum, ADHD, intellectual disability and comorbidities. A number of our students also have a more or less mental retardation.

All school staff groups work together in interdisciplinary learning communities to create good development and learning environments. There are high demands on extended parental collaboration, as well as a de-privatized practice in the classrooms.

Trekløverskolen is a school where dialogue and openness are important core elements in our collaborative climate. We work from an acknowledging approach, where we focus on each student’s competencies and resources so that in learning situations the starting point is the students’ prerequisites and these are planned for accordingly.

We work with the extended learning concept and with the idea of bringing the subject to the child. We also work with the students’ life skills so that the students get the best possible conditions to achieve as much independence and mastery of their own life as possible.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Strong relational skills that can flexibly cover teaching in ordinary school subjects, and who are able to didactically apply the extended teaching concept in relation to the students’ prerequisites.
  • Knowledge of conflict management and a low arousal approach, as we may receive students described with outwardly directed behavior.
  • Adaptability and flexibility and who can work systematically with knowledge, including knowledge about the prerequisites and functional level of the student.
  • Teaching competence in ordinary school subjects in the early years.

Your profile

  • Is a trained teacher.
  • Has strong professional competencies within the field of special education.
  • Has strong relational skills and a view for each student’s development within the community.
  • Can work independently and in a structured manner.
  • Has good interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Is well written.

We can offer

  • An development-oriented, engaged and flexible staff.
  • A positive collaboration with colleagues, partners and parents.
  • An exciting workplace where there is continuous development and co-creation with the students’ well-being and learning in mind.
  • Fantastic and kind students and staff who give their best every day.
