We are looking for a colleague in Esbjerg who can help our members control their wages, holiday pay and the like.

About the job

You will become part of the Professional Help and Litigation department, which is a well-functioning department with high professionalism and good cooperation. Here you will be colleagues with around 70 consultants, lawyers, attorneys and secretaries.

You will be responsible for your own case portfolio, which initially will primarily consist of payroll control cases, holiday pay cases and complaints to the Wage Earners' Guarantee Fund. Here you will work in Excel and go through, among other things, collective agreements, employment contracts and dismissals.

You will daily be in contact with our members, whom you represent, and employers, including employer associations and lawyers who negotiate on behalf of the employers. We are very attentive to listening to our members and their different needs for legal assistance, so there are not two days that are the same.

When necessary, our own lawyers handle the cases before all courts from the district court to the Supreme Court.

Of course, we ensure that you receive thorough onboarding.

Over time, the job can develop to also include other areas of employment law if you are interested.

The job is ready to be filled as soon as possible. It is generally a full-time job, but we are also open to part-time employment if you want it – e.g. 34 hours per week.

About you

You are a strong candidate for the job if you have worked as an accountant or similar, and it is an extra plus if you have experience paying out wages and seeking information in collective agreements and know about employment law.

Since the job will primarily consist of tasks such as payroll control and similar types of cases, it is important that you are numerate and an experienced user of Excel.

You should also be able to quickly adapt to different IT systems and have good communication skills both orally and in writing, so you can give our members the best possible service.

As a person, you should be open, outgoing and flexible and able to work independently and systematically.
