About the job

We are looking for a new colleague for our secretary group in Medical Diseases, where your daily work will primarily be in Dialysis and the Outpatient Clinic for Kidney Diseases.

Who are we

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of secretaries, doctors and nurses, where we together work to create the best possible framework for our patients.

Here you will have the opportunity to influence both daily operations and the development of new initiatives. We have a strong focus on improvement work across the Department of Medical Diseases and continuously work to develop and adapt our workflows so they make the best possible sense for both patients and staff.

About the secretary group in Medical Diseases

In addition to your closest secretary colleagues and the other professional groups in the Nephrology department, you will become part of the overall secretary group in Medical Diseases. Here you will have just over 20 secretarial colleagues distributed across four specialties: Kidney Diseases, Geriatric Diseases, Infectious Diseases and Diabetes- and Hormone Diseases.

We place a high value on well-being, collaboration and professional development. We share knowledge, consult with one another and help across units so that together we can provide the best possible service to both patients and colleagues.

Every 14 days we hold board meetings, where we create a shared overview of the secretary group’s tasks. This helps us keep an eye on each other and step in and find good solutions together when needed – for example during holiday periods or during peak workload. It is something we prioritize highly, and it works very well.

We are proud of our professionalism. At the same time we have a strong focus on development and improvements throughout the Department of Medical Diseases, and we value colleagues who want to contribute ideas, take initiative and help make our working processes even better.

Your tasks

As a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator you will have a versatile daily routine with a wide range of tasks, including booking, summons, registration, telephone handling, patient guidance, database registration, coordination, improvement work, m.m.

You will be an important part of the daily collaboration around patient pathways, where both overview, structure and good communication are essential.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Is educated as a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator (a requirement)
  • Has a good sense of humor and contributes to a positive working environment
  • Is curious and eager to learn new things
  • Is proactive and thrives on collaboration across disciplines
  • Is flexible and willing to help at the reception or across specialties when needed

We offer

  • An exciting workplace where your ideas and input are valued
  • A listening and supportive management
  • A good introduction and a mentor to help you get started
  • Close multidisciplinary collaboration and good opportunities for professional sparring
  • A fixed full-time position with the possibility to agree on a different number of hours if it suits you better

We look forward to welcoming our new colleague to the secretary group on January 1, 2027 or by agreement.
