About the job

Do you want to help create structure, overview and quality in the operation of Sorø Municipality's buildings?

Sorø Municipality is seeking a structured and technically well-founded employee for a newly established position in the Energy and Technical Team in Building Operation.

You will play a central role in developing and strengthening the systematic operation and maintenance of the municipality's buildings and technical facilities. In the first instance, your main task will be to build and implement the municipality's DKV plans (drift, kontrol og vedligehold) so that we have a solid and uniform basis for future building operation.

In the longer term, the position will develop into a broader role where you will have an important role in ongoing planning, coordination and follow-up on DKV activities, fire and security installations, and technical service agreements.

You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary environment with, among others, energy technologists, building constructors and technical specialists, who together work to ensure well-functioning, safe and well-maintained municipal buildings.

Your tasks and areas of responsibility

The position is newly established, and you therefore have a special opportunity to help shape both the tasks and the working processes that will support the future operation.

In the first year your primary focus will be to establish and implement the municipality's DKV structure. This includes, among other things, mapping existing documentation, creating an overview of fire-technical installations and measures, and building DKV plans in our digital systems, fm3-DKV and Dalux FM.

A key part of the work will also be to translate the plans into concrete and usable workflows in close cooperation with your colleagues. You will therefore need to be able to work independently with structure and systems and help introduce and train colleagues in the use of the new solutions.

When the DKV structure is established, you will take on a more operations-oriented and coordinating role , where you must ensure that the plans are actively used and that necessary controls, inspections and maintenance activities are carried out and documented.

Your tasks will include, among others

  • DKV planning and maintenance management: Building, implementing and continuously updating DKV plans as well as planning and follow-up on controls, inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Fire- and security installations: Administration and follow-up on the municipality's fire-technical installations and security installations, including ABA systems, other fixed fire protection installations and relevant technical control systems.
  • Service agreements and supplier management: Coordination with external service providers and contractors, including follow-up on service agreements, faults, deficiencies and necessary remedial actions.
  • Documentation and quality assurance: Ensuring updated asset documentation and systematic recording of completed activities, so that applicable authority requirements, insurance requirements and the municipality's own standards are complied with.
  • Digital systems and workflows: Development and maintenance of structures in fm3-DKV and Dalux FM and support and training of colleagues in daily use.
  • Planning and development: Preparing overviews, status and decision bases that support prioritization, budgeting and long-term maintenance of the municipality's buildings.
  • Preparedness and resilience: In the longer term you will also be able to take on tasks to translate new societal preparedness requirements into concrete actions in the municipality's building operation and contribute to integrating preparedness considerations into the long-term property strategy.

You will work closely with colleagues in the energy and technical team, Building Operation technical service staff, external suppliers and other partners.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a technical, construction-related or operations-focused background and are familiar with building operation, Facility Management, technical installations or maintenance planning.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of DKV plans, fire-technical installations or digital systems for building operation, but the most important is that you have the right technical understanding, work systematically and are keen to learn about new areas.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Work in a structured way and have a sense for both detail and the overall task.
  • Thrive on creating an overview, planning and following up so tasks are completed.
  • Have strong IT skills and easily adapt to new digital systems.
  • Can translate technical knowledge and documentation into practical solutions and workflows.
  • Are good at collaborating and communicating with colleagues, suppliers and other professionals.
  • Take responsibility, work independently and are eager to develop and improve the way we solve our tasks.

You do not need to know everything from day one. We will ensure you receive a good introduction to our buildings, systems and workflows.

What can we offer?

With us you get an exciting and diverse position where you both have the opportunity to influence the development of an important professional area and help create tangible improvements in daily operations.

We offer, among other things

  • A newly established position with great opportunity to influence tasks and workflows.
  • A varied daily life with a good mix of technical, administrative and coordinating tasks.
  • A strong interdisciplinary environment with dedicated and skilled colleagues who help each other.
  • Good opportunities for professional development within DKV, building operation, fire- and security installations and preparedness.
  • An workplace where we prioritize collaboration, professional sparring and an informal tone.
  • A good collegial community with room for high spirits and social events – both at and outside the workplace.
