Educator for Skægkær Børnehus - Nursery (Maternity leave vacancy)

We are looking for an educator who wants to make a difference for our lovely children through play and learning, as well as participate in good parent cooperation and be a super good collaborator with your colleagues.

We are a dynamic team of all ages who enjoy exploring our local area both on foot and by cargo bike, which we also think you would like.

We are seeking an educator for a parental leave substitute with the possibility of extension/permanent employment. The position is 37 hours with start by 1 November and preferably earlier.

Skægkær Børnehus

Skægkær Børnehus is part of the Daycare Center 3-Høje, which consists of three early years centers: Kragelund Børnehus, Funder Kirkeby Børnehus and Skægkær Børnehus.

We work from the NEST principles and are a staff group that truly strives for quality in the work we do with the children, which you will actively contribute to as a pedagogue with us.

As a kindergarten we have a focus on quality at child level, the core task and the foundation for the good childhood. We therefore would like you to be adaptable, ready to meet new ways of thinking about the good childhood, and have an eye for children in vulnerable positions.

Skægkær Børnehus is normed for 85 kindergarten children and 30 preschool children. The kindergarten is located in pleasant surroundings in the northern part of Silkeborg with access to sports fields and a forest area, which is part of Silkeborg Municipality's initiative regarding child forests.

The kindergarten focuses on a community-building pedagogy and on creating a safe, manageable and recognizable everyday life, where the framework and structure can develop the community.

We are looking for a pedagogue who can see themselves in the following

• You are interested in working with movement and outdoor life.
• You are interested in working according to the NEST principles
• You are inclusive and have a resource-focused approach to children, parents, partners and colleagues.
• You can work systematically and reflectively regarding an early intervention “Well-being across” and the accompanying focus meetings and action plans
• You have a professional approach to the pedagogical tasks
• You are caring, present and curious about the children's traces and can establish good play and learning environments
• You are keen and able to work with small and large groups of children
• You enjoy nature and wish to join a community where there is room for humor and where there is care for one another.
• You value a good working environment highly
• You are a clear adult with experience from the day care/institution sector

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and local salary agreement.
