About the job

Can you create development for children together with the adults who are close by?

At PPR Syddjurs we are looking for psychologists who are curious about people and skilled at creating development in practice.

We believe that children develop in the communities they are part of. Therefore we are focused on strengthening the learning environments, relationships and professional possibilities that surround the child. We are looking for colleagues who want to bring their psychology close to everyday life in kindergartens, schools and families.

Who are we?

PPR Syddjurs is a multidisciplinary organization with about 30 employees consisting of psychologists, speech and hearing therapists, pedagogical consultants as well as occupational and physiotherapists. We have a strong professional community and are focused on developing our practice in line with the new expectations for PPR. You will therefore have the opportunity to help shape the future PPR together with dedicated colleagues in a strong multidisciplinary environment where professional development, reflection and collaboration are prioritized.

Your tasks

You will among other things

  • advise and spar with leaders, teachers, pedagogues and parents
  • facilitate development and reflection processes
  • support strong participation opportunities and communities for children and young people
  • participate in cross-disciplinary collaborations
  • conduct psychological assessments when the task calls for it
  • contribute to the development of the future PPR.

We are looking for you who

  • are curious and investigative
  • can create trusting collaborations
  • have experience translating professional perspectives into concrete changes in practice
  • can facilitate development processes and create new actions for others
  • translate psychological knowledge into action
  • thrive in cross-disciplinary communities.

Your educational background is less important than your ability to create development together with others. We do however imagine that you have a psychology background.

Practical

We are currently seeking psychologists for two permanent positions and a maternity cover. Optionally indicate which position you are applying for. By default the working time is 37 hours per week, but other hours can be agreed. Start date is January 1 or after further agreement.

The workplace is in Hornslet, but the work takes place largely in kindergartens and schools. A driver's license is required. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.

Application deadline is November 18. Interviews will be held November 25.

Contact Karin Wessel at telephone 20537611 for further information.

Syddjurs Municipality encourages everyone to apply for the position regardless of gender, age, ethnic background, disability, etc.
