About the job

If you are passionate about working with children and young people in a multidisciplinary environment, you now have the opportunity to become part of our dedicated team.

The position is a permanent 37-hour-per-week position with commencement on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is in Viborg, but with the possibility of flexibility regarding workdays at Aarhus University Hospital Skejby or Gødstrup.

In the day ward you will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, pedagogues, social workers, teachers and secretaries.

You will have a central role in the department to help ensure professional development and quality. You will be responsible for planning the pathways in cooperation with the team and environmental staff as well as conducting assessment conferences.

You are expected to be able to manage complicated patient pathways and be available for sparring with both internal and external partners.

The assessment takes place through environmental observations in both structured and unstructured settings in close cooperation with our teachers from the internal school. In addition, we use structured and unstructured interviews, psychological tests and conversations with both patients and parents.

The treatment is most often environmental-therapeutic or via medication.

There is also close collaboration with other actors and sectors so knowledge is transferred and transitions between sectors feel smooth for both the children and their families, as well as for the professionals.
